Make this creamy White Christmas Margarita for your holiday gatherings. This festive cocktail uses tequila, coconut cream, and lime for a refreshing, snowy-themed drink that is simple to prepare in a pitcher.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 18 oz canned coconut milk (full fat for best results)
  • 6 oz coconut water
  • 6 oz Grand Marnier or orange liqueur
  • 9 oz silver tequila
  • 6 oz fresh lime juice
  • 2 cups ice (for blending, adjust for pitcher consistency)
  • Optional: Shredded coconut for rimming
  • Optional: Lime wedges for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the glasses: If you want a snowy rim, run a lime wedge around the edge of your serving glasses and dip them into shredded coconut. Set glasses aside.
  2. Combine ingredients: In a large blender, combine the coconut milk, coconut water, Grand Marnier, tequila, and fresh lime juice. Blend until smooth.
  3. Add ice: Add 2 cups of ice to the blender. Blend again until the mixture is thick and slushy.
  4. Serve immediately: Pour the mixture into your prepared glasses. Garnish each glass with a lime wedge.
  5. For a pitcher: If making ahead for a party, combine all liquid ingredients in a pitcher and chill for at least 2 hours. When ready to serve, pour the mixture into a blender with ice, blending in batches until slushy, or serve over fresh ice, noting the texture will be thinner than a blended version.

Notes

  • For a richer, more decadent drink, substitute 3 oz of the coconut milk with 3 oz of cream of coconut (like Coco Lopez).
  • If you prefer a less creamy texture, reduce the amount of coconut milk by half and substitute with more tequila or coconut water.
  • This recipe scales easily for a large crowd; simply multiply the ingredient amounts for your desired pitcher size.
