Make the viral TikTok cinnamon rolls using refrigerated dough and heavy cream. This simple hack creates incredibly soft, gooey, bakery-style cinnamon rolls with almost no extra effort.

  • 1 (12.4 ounce) package refrigerated cinnamon rolls (like Pillsbury Grands)
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 package cream cheese frosting (included with rolls)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Open the package of refrigerated cinnamon rolls. Place the rolls into the prepared baking dish, leaving a small space between each roll.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the heavy whipping cream, melted butter, and brown sugar until the sugar starts to dissolve.
  4. Pour this mixture evenly over the cinnamon rolls in the baking dish.
  5. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Remove the dish from the oven. Immediately spread the included cream cheese frosting over the warm rolls.
  7. Let the rolls cool slightly before you serve them warm.

Notes

  • If you prefer a richer flavor, you can add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to the heavy cream mixture before pouring it over the rolls.
