Make this quick, gooey cinnamon roll casserole using refrigerated dough. It is a simple, viral breakfast bake perfect for brunch or a sweet treat.

  • 1 (12.4 ounce) package refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease an 8×8 inch baking dish.
  2. Open the package of refrigerated cinnamon rolls. Do not unroll them. Cut each roll into quarters.
  3. Place the cut pieces randomly into the prepared baking dish.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, granulated sugar, and ground cinnamon until the sugar dissolves slightly.
  5. Pour the cream mixture evenly over the cut cinnamon roll pieces in the dish.
  6. Drizzle the melted butter over the top of the mixture.
  7. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the casserole is golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Remove from the oven. While still warm, spread the included icing packets over the top of the casserole.
  9. Let it cool slightly before serving. This results in a very gooey cinnamon bun bake recipe.

Notes

  • For an extra rich flavor, you can use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
  • If you prefer a thicker icing, warm the included icing packets slightly before drizzling.
