  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 4 ounces smoked salmon, flaked
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon capers, drained and chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon finely chopped red onion

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, flaked smoked salmon, chopped dill, chopped capers, lemon juice, black pepper, and salt.
  2. If using, add the chopped red onion.
  3. Stir all ingredients together until well combined. For a smoother dip, you can use a food processor and pulse until desired consistency is reached.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  6. Serve with bagel chips, crackers, or fresh vegetables.
