- 1.5 lbs Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 8 slices bacon, chopped
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp balsamic glaze
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper on a large baking sheet. Spread them in a single layer, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
- Roast for 15 minutes.
- Add the chopped bacon to the baking sheet with the Brussels sprouts.
- Continue roasting for another 10-15 minutes, or until the sprouts are tender and crispy, and the bacon is cooked through.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the balsamic glaze and maple syrup.
- Drizzle the glaze over the roasted Brussels sprouts and bacon. Toss gently to coat.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra crispy sprouts, ensure they have plenty of space on the baking sheet. Avoid overcrowding.
- You can add the bacon during the last 10 minutes of roasting if you prefer it less crispy.
- Consider this a great side dish if you are looking for meal planning ideas.
