Make this easy seafood salad featuring imitation crab and shrimp. It comes together in minutes and is perfect for a quick lunch or summer gathering.

  • 1 pound imitation crab meat, shredded
  • 1/2 pound cooked shrimp, chopped
  • 1/2 cup celery, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the shredded imitation crab and chopped shrimp in a medium bowl.
  2. Add the chopped celery and red onion to the bowl.
  3. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, Old Bay seasoning, and black pepper until smooth.
  4. Pour the dressing over the seafood mixture.
  5. Gently fold all ingredients together until everything is evenly coated.
  6. Stir in the fresh dill, if using.
  7. Cover the bowl and chill in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Serve this salad on toasted bread for a seafood salad sandwich.
  • For a lighter version, substitute half the mayonnaise with plain Greek yogurt.
