Assemble a delicious pulled pork sandwich with tender, shredded BBQ pork on a soft bun, complemented by your favorite toppings.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound cooked pulled pork
  • 4 soft sandwich buns
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup coleslaw (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons pickle slices (optional)

Instructions

  1. Warm the pulled pork gently in a saucepan or microwave until heated through.
  2. Stir in the barbecue sauce until the pork is evenly coated.
  3. Toast the sandwich buns lightly, if desired.
  4. Pile the saucy pulled pork onto the bottom halves of the buns.
  5. Top with coleslaw and pickle slices, if using.
  6. Place the top halves of the buns on top.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can use pork shoulder slow-cooked or smoked until tender.
  • Adjust the amount of barbecue sauce to your preference.
