You can make this rich and creamy Million Dollar Pie without turning on your oven. This easy dessert uses a graham cracker crust, cream cheese, crushed pineapple, and pecans for a satisfying, chilled treat perfect for potlucks or summer gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained well
  • 1 cup chopped pecans, plus extra for topping
  • 1 (9 inch) graham cracker crust

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Gradually beat in the powdered sugar until the mixture is fully combined and creamy.
  3. Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until no streaks remain.
  4. Fold in the well-drained crushed pineapple and the chopped pecans. Mix until just combined.
  5. Spoon the filling evenly into the graham cracker crust.
  6. Sprinkle the top with extra chopped pecans.
  7. Chill the pie in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or until firm, before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Make sure you drain the crushed pineapple very thoroughly; excess liquid will make your filling runny.
  • For an extra rich flavor, you can substitute half of the whipped topping with heavy cream whipped to stiff peaks.
  • If you prefer a slightly different texture, you can toast the pecans lightly before chopping and adding them to the filling.
