Ingredients
Scale
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 boneless pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
Instructions
Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add pork chops to the hot skillet and sear for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown.
Reduce heat to medium. Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar.
Pour the honey garlic mixture over the pork chops in the skillet.
Simmer for 5-7 minutes, turning the pork chops occasionally, until the glaze thickens and the pork chops are cooked through (internal temperature reaches 145°F or 63°C).
Remove pork chops from skillet and let rest for a few minutes before serving. Spoon extra glaze over the chops.
Notes
For juicier pork chops, avoid overcooking. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness.
If the glaze reduces too quickly, add a tablespoon of water or broth.
Boneless pork chops cook faster than bone-in. Adjust cooking time accordingly.
Serve with your favorite sides like rice, mashed potatoes, or steamed vegetables.
