Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 oz Vodka
  • 1 oz Coffee Liqueur
  • 1 oz Freshly Brewed Espresso, chilled
  • 0.5 oz Simple Syrup (adjust to taste)
  • Ice
  • Coffee Beans, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Brew espresso and let it cool completely.
  2. Combine vodka, coffee liqueur, chilled espresso, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker.
  3. Fill the shaker with ice.
  4. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until the shaker is very cold. This is key for creating foam.
  5. Double strain the mixture into a chilled martini glass.
  6. Garnish with three coffee beans.

Notes

  • For a foamier top, ensure your espresso is very cold and shake with extra vigor.
  • Adjust simple syrup to your preferred sweetness.
  • If you don’t have fresh espresso, use a high-quality cold brew concentrate.
  • For a decaf version, use decaf espresso or cold brew.
  • Consider a premium coffee liqueur for the best flavor.
