Make this easy, no-bake Cheesecake Fruit Salad for your next gathering. It combines fresh seasonal fruit with a light, sweet cream cheese dressing for a refreshing dessert or side dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt or sour cream
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream, whipped to stiff peaks
  • 6 cups mixed fresh fruit (strawberries, blueberries, grapes, pineapple recommended)
  • Optional: 1/4 cup chopped pecans or toasted coconut for topping

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until the mixture is completely smooth.
  2. Beat in the Greek yogurt or sour cream until just combined.
  3. Gently fold the whipped heavy cream into the cream cheese mixture until no streaks remain. Do not overmix. This is your cheesecake dressing.
  4. In a separate large bowl, combine all your washed and cut fresh fruit.
  5. Pour the cheesecake dressing over the fruit. Use a rubber spatula to gently fold the dressing into the fruit until everything is lightly coated.
  6. Cover the bowl and chill the fruit salad in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavors to meld.
  7. If using, sprinkle pecans or coconut over the top just before serving.

Notes

  • For best results, use firm, ripe fruit that will not bleed color into the dressing, such as grapes, pineapple, and firm berries.
  • You can prepare the cheesecake dressing up to one day ahead and store it covered in the refrigerator. Mix with the fruit just before serving.
  • This recipe works well as a potluck fruit salad because it holds up better than plain fruit salad when kept chilled.
