Ingredients
Scale
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup ranch dressing
1/2 cup hot sauce (like Frank’s RedHot)
1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese (optional)
1/4 cup chopped celery
2 cups shredded cooked chicken (rotisserie or canned)
1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup chopped green onions
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) if baking.
In a medium bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, ranch dressing, hot sauce, blue cheese (if using), and chopped celery until well combined.
Stir in the shredded chicken.
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish or oven-safe skillet.
Top with cheddar cheese and green onions.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is heated through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
For stovetop: Combine ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until heated through.
For slow cooker: Combine ingredients in a slow cooker and cook on low for 2-3 hours or on high for 1-1.5 hours, until heated through.
Serve warm with your favorite dippers like tortilla chips, celery sticks, or crackers.
Notes
For a spicier dip, add more hot sauce or a pinch of cayenne pepper.
If you prefer a milder flavor, reduce the amount of hot sauce.
You can make this dip ahead of time and refrigerate it. Reheat in the oven or microwave before serving.
To keep the dip warm during a party, use a slow cooker on the ‘warm’ setting.
For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for half of the cream cheese.
