Make these simple, handheld Blueberry Pie Bombs using refrigerated crescent roll dough for a fast and delicious dessert. They feature a flaky crust, sweet blueberry filling, and a cinnamon sugar topping.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (8 ounce) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1/2 cup blueberry pie filling
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough. Separate the dough into 8 triangles. Do not separate the perforations.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  4. Place about 1/2 teaspoon of cream cheese onto the wide end of each dough triangle.
  5. Top the cream cheese with about 1 teaspoon of blueberry pie filling.
  6. Starting at the wide end, roll the dough up toward the point. Pinch the seams together firmly to seal the filling inside. Tuck the pointed end underneath the roll.
  7. In a shallow dish, mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon together.
  8. Roll each sealed dough ball in the cinnamon sugar mixture until fully coated.
  9. Place the coated dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches between them.
  10. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and cooked through.
  11. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly on the baking sheet before serving.

Notes

  • For Air Fryer Blueberry Pie Bombs, cook at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 6 to 8 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • If you want a gooier center, use fresh or frozen blueberries mixed with a teaspoon of cornstarch instead of canned pie filling.
  • You can substitute refrigerated biscuit dough for crescent rolls if you prefer a thicker crust.
