Ingredients
Scale
1 (16 ounce) package shelf-stable gnocchi
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
Instructions
Place the gnocchi in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd the basket; work in batches if necessary to ensure crisping.
Drizzle the gnocchi with olive oil and toss gently to coat evenly.
Sprinkle the garlic powder, salt, and pepper over the gnocchi. Toss again to distribute the seasonings.
Set your air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius).
Air fry for 10 to 12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time, until the gnocchi are golden brown and crispy on the exterior.
Remove the cooked gnocchi from the air fryer.
Immediately transfer the hot gnocchi to a bowl and toss with the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian herbs until the cheese melts slightly.
Serve right away as a quick dinner side, appetizer, or snack.
Notes
You can use refrigerated or frozen gnocchi, but you may need to add 2-3 minutes to the cook time for frozen varieties.
For an extra savory crunch, serve these crispy gnocchi bites with marinara sauce or pesto for dipping.
This recipe works well as a topping for salads instead of croutons.
